Ley Adewole is an award-winning gospel singer, songwriter and vocal coach based in Falmouth, Cornwall. She has worked with top recording artists such as Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, George Michael, Take That, Tom Jones, Blur and The Beautiful South, to name a few. Her roots like all great, black female soul divas are firmly established in the church.

Simon writes,
β€œLey is an amazing woman and a very prominent in our community in Falmouth. She is a very talented singer and has performed with many famous people over the years.
The reason I want to nominate her is for her work in creating and running the Falmouth Community Gospel choir. This is an amazing group of very happy and fulfilled members of our community who attend the gospel sessions every Wednesday. She has made it accessible to all which is one of the reasons it is so wonderful.
Ley is a good friend, and she is important in the fact that I highly respect her community input. She has a beautiful heart. She has lived in Falmouth for many years as the mother of a lovely family and a strong contributor to our community.”
