Zoe waters
Performing Arts, Education and Learning,
Suggested by Kate Waters
Kate writes, “My sister, Zoe Waters is an actor, singer, performer and director working with multiple Cornish companies. Zoe has created her own work, including an installation for Kneehigh Theatre’s ‘Random Acts of Art’ and for the Welcome Back Fund commissioned by Hall For Cornwall. She performs with Accapella Moonshine, a small sea shanty band that could rival the Oggymen and Fisherman’s friends.
Most recently, Zoe has directed 'Jamie’ with a team of local school age children as well as travelling around many secondary schools in Cornwall teaching acting and performing arts. Alongside this, Zoe works as an usher and in the bar and café at Hall for Cornwall.
Zoe is important to me because, not only because she is my sister, but as a role model for overcoming challenges and achieving amazing things despite barriers. Zoe is Cornish born and bred and proudly supports Cornwall in everything she does. Devoted to performing arts from a very young age – she has achieved so much including performing in nearly every Hall for Cornwall Pantomine.”
