Coming in 2026

use the new art rooM!

Have a go at something new, or develop skills you already have in the new art room at Art Centre Penryn.

Spend time with other creative people and learn from fantastic local artists and makers. You’ll be supporting our mission to connect people through art and creativity while developing your own skills, all in a beautifully restored listed building.

We’ve created a multi-purpose art room, now we need you to fill it with creativity. Take a look at the first courses we’re offering below and drop us an email with any queries to info@artcentrepenryn.org

We can’t wait to see what you make…

The School Room has been refurbished to provide a new creative facility for Penryn and the wider region. With a new roof and solar panels, repaired windows, naturally insulated walls and all new heating and electrics, the building is now a lovely, peaceful space in which to spend time and be creative.

Original features meet crisp new design, maintaining the feel of the old building while upgrading the facilities. The refurbishment has been designed by Dow Jones Architects.

The School Room has been repaired and repurposed with funding from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, The National Lottery Heritage Fund and the Architectural Heritage Fund.
