PhiliPpa Holden

Philippa has been connected to the Chapel her whole life, having been christened in the Chapel attending Sunday School in the School Room. She was a Brownie, a Young Leader and a Guide until 1980. Philippa has also rehearsed in the School Room as part of Penryn Community Theatre, including for the recording of the Glasney audio-play. Philippa’s mum, Jo Kennedy, initiated and led the Brownie Pack and the 4th Penryn Wesley Guide company from the School Room, alongside Jenny Aikenhead.

“I know I did my Hostess badge here and the kitchen over in the corner was where I laid the tray up and served tea and coffee to somebody. Perhaps that was the forerunner of my catering career!”
