Sing & Play will take place in:
The Art Room
on the ground floor of the The School Room

Come along to make music, try something new and meet other local families in a friendly and creative environment.

Sing & Play is a relaxed and welcoming space for parents, guardians and little ones (aged 0-4) to connect, play and sing together.

Join us every Wednesday from 09:30-11:00am for simple, uplifting songs, music and creative play led by Shaq.

No previous singing or musical experience is needed - everyone is welcome to join in at their own pace.
New members welcome each week.

DAY / TIME:
Wednesdays / 9.30 - 11 AM
Arrive 9.30am for a 9.45am start
Singing will finish at 10.30am
Then, if you would like to, stay for tea and chat

Please donate what you can on the day:
£1 - low spare income
£3 - help cover the cost of the session
£5 - help fund others 

The majority of the costs for SING & PLAY are covered by funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, with requested donations making up the short-fall. Please donate what you can. Refreshments included.

ABOUT SHAQ
Shaq is a singer and musician who has been involved in a cappella for the last 10 years. She has led music and activities for holiday clubs and Girls’ Brigade and has taught singing and music to young people of all ages. She plays guitar and loves experimenting with sound while bringing a playful and inclusive approach to making music together.

Art Centre Penryn is a creative space in the making, we’re transforming a heritage building into a centre for contemporary art and community.

ACCESSIBILITY
Sing & Play will take place in the art room, on the ground floor of the School Room building. 

Please note that the school room has a stepped entrance and we apologise that it is not currently wheelchair accessible. Both doors do open, but double buggies would have to be lifted over the central balustrade. We will be on hand to help! 

FACILITIES
Baby changing space, mat and supplies available.
Foam mats and cushions will allow sitting on the floor, but there will be chairs available too.
