FREE PILOT EVENT

The Sing & Play pilot tested a space for parents and carers with babies and little ones to relax, connect and sing together. They joined in with simple and uplifting songs led by Jess - no previous singing experience was needed. People stayed for tea, cake and a chat in a creative and relaxing environment. 

This one-off event was part of a programme at Art Centre Penryn to test ideas for new creative and wellbeing groups, and was developed in response to initial consultation with parents and carers. Attendees had the option to give their feedback afterwards –responses helped us shape a future community programme of regular activities. 

ABOUT JESS

Jess is a local music teacher and Mum. She trained as a primary school teacher and now enjoys focusing on teaching music, especially music in the early years. Jess plays the guitar and enjoys singing and songwriting.
