About Tea, Cake and Art
Tea, Cake & Art is for people aged over 65 who would like to meet and spend time with others in a creative and sociable setting.
The group brings people together every week to be creative, have fun, learn new skills, and meet each other. Within these sessions we explore creative activities such as collage, drawing, painting, textiles and clay modelling in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The groups are delivered by experienced Art Centre Penryn staff and visiting artists.
No previous experience of art is needed, and all activities will be suitable for complete beginners as well as those who already take part in creative activities.

Who leads the sessions?
The sessions are informally led by Megan Beck. Megan runs Art Centre Penryn and has taught a range of art and design classes in Adult and Community Education.
Do I have to pay, book or bring anything?
We ask for a small donation of £2 - £5 per session to cover some of our costs. Tea, cake and all materials are provided.
You don’t have to book in advance but please get in touch with us before joining to have a chat about the group.
