Becky says, “Angelina has founded her own successful theatre company, Rogue Otherworld which offers affordable theatre to the people of Cornwall. In her career she pioneers ways to make sure that everyone is included and can take part in cultural opportunities in Cornwall. Through her work she supports the long term employment of female artists and normalises female roles, as protagonists in her shows as well as in the production team.

Added to this she is an award-winning porcini mushroom pasty chef! Angelina is tenacious and generous - an inspiration to all women who want to make art.

She lives and works in Camborne. Her family tree reaches back to one of the residents of the Basset Estate, Tehidy.”

Angelina Boscareli set up Rogue Theatre with her husband Ollie Oakenshield in 2003 with the vision to create transformational theatre experiences at the heart of community life, celebrating connections to each other and the living world. The stories they tell are magical, full of wonder and mystery, their theatre brings people together from all walks of life. Their vision is to create experiences where everybody has a place and where diversity amplifies shared experience. Rogue’s shows are wild by nature, taking place outdoors, in the woods and they mix artistic disciplines, sparking new cultural traditions that connect us to the seasons and nature.
