Ali says, “LA Taylor is a female professional wrestler from Cornwall who has taken her art all over the UK, Europe and even to Japan, always flying the Cornish flag and proudly representing Kernow wherever she goes.

LA is important to me because she has shown that through hard work and determination, even if you’re from a small town, you can take your passion anywhere in the world. LA was born and raised in Polzeath and is one of the most humble people I know. She is an inspiration to all up and coming female wrestlers in the UK. Everyone should strive to make the same waves that she has.”

A New Year’s resolution in LA’s mid 20’s to change her life led to her trying lots of different challenging things. A wrestling taster day in the back room of a gym in Bodmin was her starting point for proving to herself and others that she could become a great wrestler. Performing arts has always been part of her life and this helped her create her wrestling identity.
