Abbie writes,
“Ronnie runs Future Youth Dance, a community dance group in the centre of Bodmin. The group gives the chance for children of all abilities and ages to express themselves in a safe space. The children take part in shows and competitions across the South West.

Ronnie gives up her time every week for the sake of these children and their shared passion for Dance. She is a role model, mentor, and a gentle kind soul who supports every child that steps into her class. Some have gone on to amazing dance schools because of her inspiring teaching.

Ronnie is important to me because she has always provided an easily accessible and safe space for families from all backgrounds to allow their children to express themselves freely. Ronnie has taught me many life lessons over the 10 years she taught me to dance and now is a close and special friend.

Ronnie welcomed me with open arms and continues to do that for everyone who steps into her class. She is humble and never speaks highly of herself so I’d like to take this chance to give her the recognition she deserves.

More people need to be like Ronnie - understanding, caring and non-judgmental.
Everyone needs to experience a space like Ronnie’s.”
