Rosie has designed, made and installed several ceramic murals in Cornwall that celebrate Cornish history, places and traditions. The biggest are the Saltash Fisher Folk, and Kelliwick Notes which spans the outside of Callington Town Hall.

Well-known for including the local community in her artworks, many of her murals include word tile sections created through community engagement. She has also had an impact on the Cornish music scene, running events, workshops, and writing songs for Cornish celebrations.

Rosie is my mum, so I am biased, but she really is an incredible woman. Supremely creative, driven, diligent, and inspiring. I have grown up watching mum make lasting waves with her art and music, often whilst donning her Cornish black and yellow outfits of choice. Mum has a keen sense of place, and this is what motivates her to include locals in her creation of artworks that will become fixtures for years to come. Rosie has led large musical community events which celebrate Cornish history, Cornish places, and Cornish traditions.
She has helped to nurture new Cornish traditions including the Calstock May Revels, the Cotehele Wasail, and the Callington Mayfest. As well as performing herself, Rosie leads music workshops, writes songs, and leads processions of merry Cornish music-makers through the streets of Cornwall. She has boosted community spirit hugely over the last four decades :)

Rosie was honored to be made a Cornish Bard in 2019 for her work in community arts.

Rosie moved to Cornwall in the early 1980s to live with her husband Rob and start a family. They bought some land, converted an old blacksmith’s forge into a home and pottery which they still live in today, laying down strong roots and embedding themselves in Cornish culture.
