In the summer of 2024, before the re-development works started, artist Katie Etheridge was commissioned to interview people who had connections to the School Room, some going back decades.

The people below all generously gave up their time to be interviewed, and shared wonderful memories and photographs of activities at the building. We are grateful for their time and their candid recollections which bring some of the history of this building to life.
